Presets

PRESET SHOP

I am so excited that you are checking out my mobile preset packs! In short, I have designed these to make your photos look better!
The long version is my editing style is not trendy, its timeless, so are these presets (if used as intended). There are a number of different options for presets, if you use them on images like what they were designed for, then your finished images will have a timeless look to them as well. If you use them on other images (thats fine too of course!) you might get more of a trendy edit on your images!
There is no easy 1-click solution to every image, thats why there are packs of 5 and 20, the pack of 20 will give you presets that will work for far more lighting situations than the 5 pack. Most of the time these will be a 1-click edit. Of the 500 some images I’ve tested these on I had to make manual adjustments to 6 of the photos!

HOW DO I KNOW THESE PRESETS ARE RIGHT FOR ME?

If you are like most people I know and shoot everywhere, in your house, at restaurants, vacation, etc then these presets should work! They have been designed to cover a myriad of lighting situations, not just perfectly lit, staged images; but real life. They are named with things to help you know when to use them like “shitty indoor light” or “too blue”.

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD THEM?

In your order confirmation e-mail you will receive a link to a PDF guide that will walk you through the installation process. You will receive a second email with your download link for the presets. They will be in a zipped folder, which is easy to unzip straight from your phone. The document will then show you how to open them all in Lightroom. The presets are designed for Adobe Lightroom CC for mobile (Its a free app!) So you have to download that first if you don’t already have it! At the end of the document there is a section that will show you how to make any manual adjustments to your images, if on the off chance you need to!

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH PRESET TO USE?

They are all named to explain their intent; however the original intent might not always be best for each photo! It’s a good general starting point, but as you edit your photos with the presets you’ll learn which ones work best for the kind of lighting you shoot in and which ones work for your style of photos!
You can see examples of the presets below!

WHAT DO THEY DO EXACTLY?

These presets adjust the tone curve, exposure and overall coloring as well as some smaller color adjustments (like making greens less yellow) The presets do not do any skin smoothing or usual “photoshop” type adjustments.

DO THE PRESETS WORK BETTER ON AN IPHONE OR ANDROID?

The presets will work on any type of phone, if you can download Adobe Lightroom CC for mobile, the presets should work! I have tested them on photos from at least 5 different types of phones, what matters more than what phone you took the picture on is the lighting you are shooting in!
