From Kristyn about the lovely wedding: I consider myself to be quite lucky. I’ve never won the lottery, and I rarely win draws or prizes, but when it comes to my job, it’s a different story! For one – I have never been rained out during wedding photos. (Don’t worry, I’m knocking on wood as I type.) The second we wrapped up shooting Ella & Geoff’s first look and formals outside, it started to pour. When I wanted to go back outside, the rain had stopped. And then it started again once we were settled inside the warm, beautiful venue for the evening. Another reason I’m so lucky is that I get to work with couples like Ella and Geoff. Their wedding was elegant, classic and simple. They themselves are a kind, down to earth, loving couple. My favourite type of people to work with, hands down. Ella and Geoff opted to do a first look at the lake, which made for some heartfelt and super pretty photos! Another favourite part of the day for me was the dancing to a live band – the kids and adults all had a blast, and I am so glad I stayed to get those last shots. Congrats, E & G, wishing you an amazing, long life together!
