A few words from Brittany: Up until the last five years I’ve always lived by the beach and even now (with zero beaches around), I always find myself drawn to the water, really any body of water. It makes me happy, it feels like home, heck even just get me in a bath and I’m content. But let me tell you about this beach in particular…

San Onofre State beach is located just a few miles south out of San Clemente, my hometown. If you’re the odd man out and haven’t heard of San Onofre, it is leased to the Sate of California by the US Marine Corps (Camp Pendleton is located nearby) and is a world-famous surf destination (Trestles).

That evening at San Onofre was a chilly one, the water freezing and air so brisk…but the sound of the ocean, the salt in my hair and the last light of day…well nothing sounds more perfect to me.

A few words from Jenn about her's and Marc's wedding: They say the best relationships start out as friendships and since our wedding is just a huge party dedicated to our close family & friends, we wanted to incorporate the friendship theme throughout our big day - My sister designed our watercolor invitations with custom calligraphy, and we asked various friends to take on roles such as a baker, singer, florist, ring bearer (our puppy!) and even having an old neighbor officiate our wedding.

Our day was packed and we started the morning off with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony to honor our elders, while adorning jewelry my mom wore on her wedding day, along with other accessories from my late grandmother. At our reception, the hanging paper cranes represent the year we spent in Japan (separately) and then rekindling in Japan together before we kick started our relationship.

My favorite part of the day was when my husband (rudely!) interrupted my photo booth session with my girlfriends to grab my hand and sit me in front of him - He had been secretly practicing the guitar so he could play and serenade one of my favorite songs to me. I was floored!
