The photographers who work with Justine Milton Photography are some of the most gifted and gentle spirited artists Alberta. Most own their own photography businesses and are contracted with us to create a memorable Picture Day experience and images that will delight your parents.
- All of our team members are Justine Milton Certified, which means that they have been extensively trained in how to provide a warm, upbeat, and joyful Picture Day experience from start to finish.
Our photographers will spend limited time with each student, but they will spend every second of their time together capturing images and making your student feel like a celebrity. We keep the energy high and the stress level low for the kiddos we pull out all the stops to make sure they feel not only comfortable, but also seen and affirmed. And because we work efficiently, we are able to capture all the authentic expressions a parent could want in that short amount of time in order to honour your schedule!
We are a local business created by women on a mission to honour students and faculty/staff well by giving them an incredibly joyful Picture Day. Everything we do is built around our priority to provide you with customized, attentive service as well as artistic images that families will treasure. Because of that, we are able to bring out as many photographers as you need and work within your scheduling requirements to make sure the day serves you well!
Yes! We are happy to provide custom designed ID badges for your staff and students upon request, as well as sticker sheets, online directories, printed class photos and digital images for internal use.
We offer Picture Day at no cost to the schools we serve. In fact, we return 10% of all Picture Day sales back to your school! We are honoured that you would choose to partner with us- we know what a significant thing it is that you would welcome us into your building.
We work with a local Alberta based print lab that uses a simple and easy to use online interface for yearbooks. Justine Milton would provide you with all the portraits populated right into the yearbook, and then your yearbook advisor or parent volunteer would add the candid photos or any other images you would want to include using a very easy to navigate online platform. Once the design is complete we will send them to print.
Nope, all orders are placed after picture day. We provide online galleries for parents to view before placing their order, so parents are only purchasing what they absolutely love with no need to prepay and order before Picture Day. And since we capture multiple poses for each student, there are plenty of options in their galleries to choose from!
Absolutely! This is a service we offer to schools at no cost. We can either build time for a group photo into the Picture Day schedule, or we are happy to offer a composite class photo with individual students placed on a sheet with their classmates and teacher.
Whichever way you decide to go, we will provide you with the digital files for those images and make them available for families inside their child’s gallery.

Modern hand painted backdrops in neutral tones or solid colours are available. Custom colours can be created.

At Justine Milton Photography, we start by learning about your school’s unique needs so we can provide a customized experience that works best for your staff, students, and families.

We handle all parent communication before and after photo day, taking the administrative burden off your team. From reminders to delivery updates, everything is clearly outlined and professionally managed.

Each school receives a private, unlisted webpage with all the information parents need—how to prepare for photo day, how to view their child’s gallery, and how to place an order.

Every student is photographed, and parents are only asked to purchase what they love after seeing their child’s proof gallery.

Our secure online proofing and ordering system is completely paperless and eco-friendly, eliminating the need for printed order forms or proofs.

2025 package options For parents

Simple, Paper-Free Ordering for Parents

All photo ordering is done conveniently online, so there's no need for students to bring home paper order forms.

If the school is able to provide a CSV file with parent contact information, each family will receive an email with a personalized gallery and ordering link.

If contact information cannot be provided, students will receive a unique QR code to take home, giving parents easy access to their child’s photo gallery.

There will be a clearly communicated order deadline. Orders placed before this date will be delivered to the school at no extra cost. Parents also have the option to pay for direct shipping to their home if preferred.

Any orders placed after the deadline will be shipped directly to the family's home and will include a standard shipping fee.
